(MENAFN) According to the UN, around 264m children and young people around the world are not in education in 2015.
The UN said that offering more options to parents about which school their children go to, could make educational separation even worse.
40 countries were recorded to have less than one in four people had finished secondary education, but only 14 where over 90% had finished it.
UNESCO progress report cited that only 55% of countries make the right of education enforceable in the law, while it is mentioned in 82% of national constitutions.
