Government report urges Trump to acknowledge climate change threat

(MENAFN) On Monday, a government report was released, emphasizing the dangers of climate change along with the government's response on the issue.

Over the past decade, at least $350 billion were spent by the US government in order to deal with fire incidents and extreme weather. In the case of a steady development of global emission rates, the US is expected to require a major increase of costs, as reported by the Government Accountability Office.

The report suggested that GAO has requested President Trump to make use of its gathered information in order to assist in making out climate change threats and "craft appropriate federal responses."
