(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Two Kuwaiti officials said the GCC Scholarships Summit was successful in highlighting best scholarships available at best universities around the globe.
Amal Al-Shatti, Director of Scholarships at Civil Service Commission (CSC), told KUNA the summit offered an opportunity to meet with representatives of universities to get acquainted with their programs.
She said CSC was keen on providing scholarships that would honor market needs.
Dr. Adnan Al-Ali, Dean of Commercial Studies Collegue, said the summit offered a chance to initiate coopeation mechanism with educational institutes to include them in Kuwait's scholarships program.
He thanked the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for organizing the summit, attended by representatives from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, the UAE and Iraq. (end) bsu.bs
