Attack on south Yemen military base kills 3 soldiers
(MENAFN) Five attackers were killed during an attack on a military base in the southern province of Abyan in Yemen in which three Yemeni soldiers were killed by the attack, according to a security source.
A car rigged with explosives carrying five men pulled up to a military base in the district of Mudiya in Abyan, the identities of the assailants were unknown.
Four men wearing explosive belts ran out of the car and toward the base, and were all shot dead.
The death of the three soldiers along with the driver was caused after the explosion of the vehicle outside the base.
