Crown gets back on accusations

(MENAFN) Crown Resorts got back at Andrew Wilkie with an open letter charging the federal independent MP of claiming misconduct at the resort's Melbourne casino.

Crown has possessed an entire page in News Corp and Fairfax newspapers to "emphatically reject" claims by Wilkie, challenging him to report any information he has to the authorities.

The executive chairman of the resorts John Alexander, mentions in the ad that he's "angered and disappointed by the outrageous allegations" of Wilkie, who took advantage of parliamentary allowance to accuse Crown of interfering with gaming machines to increase earnings.

Alexander also said: "If he believes he has evidence of wrongdoing, he should stop the political games, step out of the parliament and make his claims without privilege."
