(MENAFN) Iraqi judges will be observing and supervising next year's parliamentary election in Iraq, as a result of the Iraqi parliamentary decision on Saturday.
MP Ali al-Safi said, "The judges will supervise the process of voting and counting with a view to ensuring the integrity of the electoral process," he told Anadolu Agency.
Saturday's session was attended by 180 MPs of the 328-member assembly whereas parliamentary election is scheduled to take place in April.
