Refinery expansion talks between Total and Saudi Aramco
(MENAFN) Aiming at expanding their Saudi joint venture refinery by over 10 percent, French Energy Company Total and Saudi Aramco are in discussion over their promising expansion plans, Patrick Pouyanne, the chief executive of Total said on Wednesday.
According to Pouyanne, the capacity at their Saudi Arabia Total Refining and Petrochemical (SATORP) complex in Jubail can be raised to 440,000 barrels per day through greater efficiency.
"We are working with Saudi Aramco, discussing gas allocation", Pouyanne told reporters at the Oil & Money conference, "to go up to 440,000 bpd can be quick", he said.
