Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns suicide bombings in Afghanistan

Jeddah, Safar 01, 1439, October 21, 2017, SPA -- General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned strongly today the twin suicide attacks which took place yesterday on two mosques in Kabul and Ghor in Afghanistan, killing at least 60 people and injuring others.
Secretary-General of the Organization Dr Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed his shock at the brutality of the perpetrators of these heinous attacks on innocent people gathered in the mosque to pray, saying that these acts of terrorism are contrary to the values of Islam and humanity.
He urged the Afghan authorities to combat terrorism and extremism, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Afghan Government and people.
