Ambassador Al-Badawi with His Royal Highness Duke Henry, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg
BRUSSELS, Oct 21, (KUNA): The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Belgium and Luxembourg and Head Kuwait's missions to the EU and NATO has presented his credentials to His Royal Highness Duke Henry, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Ambassador Al-Badawi told the Kuwait News Agency Saturday that he conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg and wished him further progress and prosperity for the friendly nation of Luxembourg.
He said that the Luxembourg duke conveyed his greetings and best wishes to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait. Ambassador Al-Badawi said that he discussed with the Grand Duke of Luxembourg ways to strengthen bilateral relations. He said that he mentioned to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg that the existence of many commonalities between the State of Kuwait and the Duchy of Luxembourg contributes to the creation of an atmosphere conducive to strengthening bilateral relations on all levels, in particular economic and investments. Ambassador Al-Badawi said that the Grand Duke of Luxembourg affirmed his intention to encourage the various Luxembourg institutions involved in the development of the economy to discuss ways of enhancing financial relations with Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti ambassador pointed out that there are many opportunities for cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Duchy of Luxembourg, especially the use of Luxembourg's expertise in financial, investment and economic services. He noted that Luxembourg's position as the second largest financial center in the world after the United States enables it to provide the appropriate expertise to benefit from this sector.
