Saudi Arabia condemns terror attacks in Egypt and Afghanistan

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia condemned on Friday the deadly terror attacks in Egypt's Giza province and in Afghanistan and assured that the Kingdom stood in unity with them in their fight against terrorism and extremism.

Egyptian security and medical sources on Friday said that at least 35 troops and police officers were killed clashing with Islamist fighters in the Bahariya oasis in the country's Western Desert on Friday.

On the other hand, at least 63 people were confirmed killed in two separate suicide bomb attacks targeting two mosques in Afghanistan during Friday prayers.

A source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and to the governments and people of the two countries, according to Saudi Press Agency.
