Kobe Steel scandal: more quality mistakes
(MENAFN) More proof recently found of mistakes on the quality of Kobe Steel products, as the company said it had discovered a new case of false steel data.
The company said it also found out that workers did not report evidence to an internal investigation.
Kobe is now planning to establish a panel for outsiders to look into their problems.
According to a Kobe spokesman, among the recent discoveries, the thickness of steel sold to customers "was fabricated".
The spokesman said about the duration of the fabrication: "It could be longer than a decade, we are looking into it now."
