RAK Department of Antiquities and Museums participating in 'Museums in Arabian Peninsula' in Bahrain

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 19th October, 2017 (WAM) -- The Ras Al Khaimah's Department of Antiquities and Museums is participating in the 3rd edition of the conference, "Museums in the Arabian Peninsula," organised by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.

The three-day conference, which began on Wednesday, includes numerous experts, specialists and people interested in heritage and antiquities from all over the world, and addresses several issues related to the museums' sector in the Arabian Gulf.

Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director-General of the Antiquities and Museums Department, said that this participation is within the framework of promoting relations and exchanging experience between the department and the authorities and institutions in the field of antiquities and museums inside and outside the country. It is also aimed at following up the latest developments, research and studies in this field.
