Qatar- GWC reports 4.8% rise in net profit

GWC, Qatar's leading logistics provider, has reported net profits of QR157.26m for the first nine months of this year ended September 30, 2017, up 4.8 percent compared to QR150.11m recorded for the corresponding period in 2016.
The company continues to register growth despite extraordinary circumstances by seeking new revenue streams, which registered QR695.13m at the end of the period, recording an 11.8 percent increase from QR621.38m in the first nine months of 2016. This corresponded with growth in earning per shares for the company's shareholders, which increased to QR2.68 in the first three quarters of 2017, a rise from QR2.59 during the same period in 2016.
