(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct.19(Petra)--The Kazakh Foreign Ministry on Thursday announced the date for the next round of multilateral Syrian peace talks, which will be held in Kazakhstan's capital of Astana in late October.
"As the guarantor countries of cessation of the hostilities, the seventh international high-level meeting on Syria within the Astana process will be held on October 30-31, 2017," the ministry's official website said.
Since January, Astana has been hosting rounds of talks aimed at finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis and reaching agreements between the Syrian armed opposition groups and the government to resolve the conflict on Syrian territory.
