Council of Ministers commend Omani women's contributions


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- As per the directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Council of Ministers has congratulated Omani women. In a statement the Council of Ministers said, 'The celebration of the Omani Women's Day is a means of embodying the care and attention accorded to women.

This attention enables women to occupy their deserved place in society. Hence, on October 17, the sultanate every year celebrates women's status as partners in national action. Success stories of Omani women at workplace in public and private domains are plenty and noteworthy. Women played constructive roles in economic and social fields, and in literature, besides their basic role in the upbringing of generations, enhancing of family ties and fostering social harmony.

'An Omani woman has an ever-expanding role in nation-building service. She has contributed to all fields of work, in addition to her keenness on forming a responsible family, grooming the offspring and ensuring quality in her work. The Council of Ministers wishes Omani woman further success and progress.'
