Suicide bombing kills 7, injures 22 in Pakistan


(MENAFN) A suicide blast hit a security forces truck in Quetta city in Pakistan's southern province of Balochistan on Wednesday caused the death of 22 people including six policemen, as well as injuring at least 22 others, local media reported.

A suicide bomber crashed his explosive vehicle into the security forces truck in Saryab area of Quetta; the bombing killed seven people immediately and wounded 22 others, as Home Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bhugti said.

Shah Jahan, Medical Superintendent of the Civil Hospital Quetta, said that seven bodies including six policemen, and 24 injured, mostly policemen, have been brought to the hospital for treatment.
