Kuwait- Decline seen in expat visits


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: There has been a significant decline in the number of expatriate visitors to Kuwait on commercial, tourism and family visas since the start of the application of the new charges for health services this month, reports Al- Anba daily quoting a high-level source from General Department for Residency Affairs.

He said the number of visitors is expected to drop further following the application of a proposal submitted by Ministry of Interior to increase the charges of visit visas, adding, 'We are waiting for the Cabinet to approve the proposal for increased charges of visit visas soon'.
