(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The State of Qatar participated in the World Health Summit in Berlin
this week with a delegation headed by HE the Minister of Public Health
Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari. Dr al-Kuwari made a presentation at the
discussion session on health cities, saying that Qatar, like other
countries participating in the summit, faces a number of challenges
related to lifestyle-related diseases, environmental risk factors and
increasing demand for healthcare. She also reviewed Qatar's approach to
implementing the Qatar National Vision 2030, which considers health and
education to be one of the priorities of the country, stressing that the
national vision is in line with the United Nations' Sustainable
Development Plan 2030.
