Jordan- Shots Fired at North Eastern Badia Girls School

AMMAN —AlGhad— The Teachers Association (JTA)said that an unknown individual had broken into a girls school in the North Eastern Badia district and opened fire on campus earlier today, Wednesday.

The school suspended classes and sent the students and teachers home, until further notice.

Central Committee member Mamdouh Samran of the JTA said that the shooting was on motivated by previous disputes unknown.

He explained that the teachers and students were sent off for their own safety.

Police responded to the shooting, along with the district's acting governor, to oversee the investigation.
