Oman- Sayyid Fahd receives deputy prime minister of Slovakia


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers on Monday received Peter Pellegrini, Deputy Prime Minister for Investment in Slovakia and his accompanying delegation.

The guest conveyed the keenness of the leadership of Slovakia to promote relations with the sultanate under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan in several fields.

At the beginning of the meeting, Sayyid Fahd reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the countries. He affirmed that the sultanate has facilitated all possible means to prepare an environment conducive for investment opportunities in economic diversification sectors, such as industry, tourism, transport, airports, ports and fisheries, as well as academic, scientific and technical fields. They give chance to share expertise and provide more opportunities for businessmen to invest in the two countries.

On his turn, the guest expressed his gratitude for welcoming him and his accompanying delegation.

He affirmed appreciation of his country for the progress and growth achieved by the sultanate, as well as its constructive contributions in enhancing understanding and strengthening ties of friendship with all countries.

He spoke of his meetings with officials in the sultanate, which come within the framework of cementing relations of existing cooperation. He also expressed his satisfaction over the good outcomes of such meetings upgrading the relations between the sultanate and Slovakia.

The meeting was attended by Dr Ali bin Masoud bin Ali al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
