Ooredoo joins 12th Annual Oman Women's Bowling Tournament


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Ooredoo joined nine other teams from the public and private sector for the fast-paced 12th Annual Oman Women's Bowling Tournament, running till October 18.

Organised by the Ministry of Sports Affairs at the Oman Bowling Centre in Al Khuwayr, the fun-filled event features several categories for the sultanate's bowling starlets to compete in and on day two, Laila al Harthy took the first place in the singles and third place in the doubles with teammate Nunu al Maskary.

Ooredoo also gave away awards to winners in the singles and doubles competitions on the second day of the event.

As a longstanding champion of supporting Omani women, Ooredoo is always looking for opportunities to empower them, identifying sports as one of many ways to nurture their growth.
