Qatar- Emir, President of Indonesia attend signing of agreements, MoUs

Jakarta:HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Indonesian President Joko Widodo attended at the Bogor Presidential Palace the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between the governments of the two countries.

They attended the signing of a MoU for the establishment of a joint committee between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Indonesia to deepen and develop cooperation between the two countries on political, economic, social, cultural, tourism, technological, navigational, agricultural and industrial areas and banking and financial services. They also attended the signing of air services agreement between the governments of the two countries.

The Emir and Indonesian President also attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of health to exchange information, experts and specialists, a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the fields of youth and sports aimed at supporting and facilitating cooperation in youth and sport between existing youth institutions, and a MoU between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

The signing ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.

On the Indonesian side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials.
