Qatar- Photography expo to enhance cultural ties

A Bulgarian photography exhibition is set to be held at the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara in December.
Bulgarian Ambassador, Metin Kazak, proposed the said exhibition to Katara General-Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti during their meeting yesterday at Katara. The meeting was held with an aim to enhance cultural ties between Qatar and Bulgaria through the joint cooperation of each country's cultural entities.
Dr. Al Sulaiti welcomed the proposal, saying: 'Katara is keen on presenting diversified cultures from all over the world and will be honoured to display elements of the rich Bulgarian culture, which stems from Katara's keenness to build communication bridges between people from all walks of life.
The Bulgarian ambassador expressed his utmost appreciation and gratitude to the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and Bulgaria and stressed keenness to enhance and activate the cultural ties between the Bulgarian Embassy and the Cultural Village. The Ambassador conveyed his happiness on his visit to Katara, which he described as a cultural monument and an authentic platform that allows all cultures to meet under one roof, that successfully promotes culture, art, performances and creativity.
