President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece Nikolaos Kanellos Oct. 17.
The ambassador reviewed a guard of honor.
Kanellos presented his credentials to President Aliyev.
President Aliyev then spoke with the ambassador.
They exchanged views on various aspects of Greece-Azerbaijan relations. They also discussed the energy cooperation and the ways of increasing trade between the two countries.
