'Kuwaiti leadership's efforts highly appreciated'

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The efforts of the Kuwaiti leadership in trying to resolve the ongoing Gulf crisis are highly appreciated by everyone in Qatar, senior radio host Mehmood Ahmed has said.
He made the observation while speaking to Qatar Urdu Radio's live show Haqeeqat yesterday.
Referring to Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah visit to Riyadh yesterday, Ahmed said it was expected that the GCC crisis and the Gulf summit would be among the main issues to be discussed with the leadership in Saudi Arabia.
'Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled al-Jarallah previously mentioned that they hoped to resolve the regional crisis before the Gulf summit, which will be hosted by Kuwait in December. We want to keep that optimism alive and wish to see Kuwait resolve the conflict for everyone in the region, he said.
Haqeeqat, which aims to engage and interact with the large South Asian expatriate community in Qatar, is a joint venture of Gulf Times and Qatar Media Corporation Urdu Radio.
It is broadcast from Sunday to Thursday on FM107. The show is hosted by Saif-ur-Rehman.
