Video: Meteors spotted in Dubai night sky


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in Dubai has confirmed that a meteorite has passed through the skies of Dubai.

Many Twitter users in the country were quick to post pictures and videos online, as the meteors traced an arc in the sky before being finally extinguished.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council also shared a picture of the passing meteorite on his Instagram account.

From the Khaleej Times office, we could see three-four brightly lit fireballs, while others were embers following in their wake.
