(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Chief of Staff General Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived in Bahrain on Monday to attend the Bahrain International Defense Exhibition and Conference 2017.
Al-Nawaf said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this exhibition is a great opportunity to meet with experts, specialists and representatives of the major manufacturers of defensive military equipment and systems.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Bahrain for hosting such a large exhibition, which displays the finest systems, equipment and defense techniques used at the present time.
For his part, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the participation of Kuwait comes within the framework of its interest in enhancing effectiveness of the international coalition to counter terrorism.
Sheikh Azzam said that this participation reflects Kuwait's support for the success of any regional and international gathering and meeting held in any Gulf land.
The Bahrain International Defense Exhibition 2017 will be held under the patronage of Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from 16-18 of this month.(end).
