DUBAI, 16th October, 2017 (WAM) -- In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, celebrated across the globe every October, Dubai Properties will offer complimentary breast cancer screening across its landmark destinations Marasi Business Bay and Jumeirah Beach Residence, JBR.
The Dubai-based real estate developer is spearheading the initiative as a member of Dubai Holding in partnership with Pink Caravan, a pan-UAE breast cancer initiative that falls under the Friends of Cancer Patients' umbrella 'Kashf' for early detection of cancer. The company invites women across Dubai to join the community events and set aside the time to learn about the causes, effects, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
As part of the month-long global awareness drive, each location will feature a two-day event dedicated to breast cancer awareness, to encourage more women to undergo clinical screening and reiterate the importance of early detection.
In addition, an array of leisure activities will be held to increase footfall at Pink Caravan at Marasi Business Bay on Tuesday, 24th October and Wednesday, 25th October. And at JBR on Friday, 27th October and Saturday, 28th October.
