(MENAFN) According to Australian authorities, the skydivers seem to have died in Queensland after they collided mid-air.
According to initial investigations, one skydiver may have collided with tandem skydivers, and their parachutes couldn't deploy properly.
Skydive Australia, the operating company has told local media that it had put off its operations at Mission Beach while an investigation was opened.
The company stated that the unaccompanied skydiver was a "highly experienced instructor who had completed thousands of jumps", while the other two were another experienced instructor and a costumer.
