Man accused after leaving date burn to death
(MENAFN) A woman of Indian-descent was left to burn to death in car by the driver who left her for dead after the vehicle caught fire in New York, media reports said.
As the victim was unable to escape, firefighters found the fried body of 25 year of Harleen Grewal early Friday morning, New York Daily News reported.
The driver of the car, Saeed Ahmad, 23, whom the daily described as "heartless", flagged down a taxi near the scene of the incident to go to a hospital.
The driver was later charged with homicide along with other offenses related to incident.
