(MENAFN) Dubai-based Mashreq Bank has revealed a full-service digital bank "Mashreq NEO", which is a major step of innovation in the UAE online banking sector.
The bank point out that plans are in progress to 'divide in two' the number of its branches over the next three years, which will lead up to 20 per cent downsizing of its employees in retail services, the bank announced considering it a new era initative.
Mashreq, the third largest UAE lender by assets, has 44 branches in the Emirates, as well as a retail presence in other countries in the region including Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. It has more than 4,000 employees.
