USD2b worth of projects by Oman
(MENAFN) Around 11 public-private partnership (PPP) projects are being executed by Oman, worth USD2 billion, according to a report.
Oman observer report said that the Sultanate and Qatar are also planning PPP legislations in the second half of 2017.
Over the past year, the MENA region has witnessed a 116 per cent increase in the value of projects planned or in progress using PPP.
About 151 PPP projects are currently planned or underway across the Mena region outside the energy sector with a combined value of about USD185 billion, the report said.
