Euromoney award for HSBC in Qatar
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HSBC in Qatar was voted as the 'Best Domestic Cash Manager for the 8th consecutive year by both corporates and financial institutions in the Euromoney Cash Management Survey 2017.
HSBC was also awarded 'Best Regional Cash Manager in the Middle East, the bank's 9th win since 2009, and retained its title as 'Best Global Cash Manager.
HSBC in Qatar CEO Abdul Hakeem Mostafawi said, 'These awards demonstrate that our Global Liquidity and Cash Management product offering stands out as a market leading and first class proposition for corporates and financial institutions.
More than 40000 clients worldwide rely on us for their liquidity and cash management solutions. With our expertise, we are able to advise clients to better manage their excess cash and ensure that they benefit from a range of investments.
HSBC gained the most votes and ranked first globally for quality of service delivered. The bank also topped the ranks in four out of the seven regions for best service, a new metric that Euromoney introduced this year. In addition, financial institutions voted HSBC first in some 27 awards for its expertise in foreign-currency payments.
'The success is testament to the strong relationships we have built and maintained with our clients and demonstrates the strength of our global footprint, Mostafawi added. Euromoney's Annual Cash Management Survey covered 28,000 cash managers, treasurers and financial officers. It provides them with the opportunity to comment on the standard of the international cash management services they receive, as well as rate the financial institutions they bank with.
