(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: A job-hunting citizen was unable to control his emotions when he did not get his dream job in a local insurance company after the recruitment committee turned down his application. In his disappointment, he assaulted one of the members of the committee, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to sources, the citizen visited the company to check if his application was accepted but he was informed that it was rejected because he did not have a university degree or diploma. Out of anger and shock, he insulted the committee members and assaulted one of them, injuring him.
Security guards of the company had to physically control the angry citizen. After the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior was informed about the incident, securitymen were sent to the location. They arrested the citizen and took him to Sharq Police Station where an assault case was filed against him. Meanwhile, the injured committee member received treatment from paramedics.
