Sony, Fifty One East introduce new home theatre system


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Fifty One East and Sony Middle East and Africa have announced the launch of the HT-RT40, a new 5.1 channel home theatre system.
Priced at QR1,099, the home theatre system comprises a three-channel sound bar, two rear speakers and an active external subwoofer, according to a press statement from Fifty One East.
HT-RT40 is now available at all Fifty One East outlets located in Al Maha Center on Salwa Road, FNAC at Lagoona Mall and Doha Festival City, Virgin Megastore branches in Landmark, Villaggio and Doha Festival City, as well as selected outlets in Doha.
'With a total power output of 600W, users can look forward to a true 5.1 surround sound experience when watching movies or listening to music, the statement noted. 'The HT-RT40 is easy to install and can simply be connected to television sets via HMDI cables.
The 'powerful 5.1ch provides real surround sound experience that is available in the form of a thinner sound bar as well as tallboy surround speakers with dedicated centre speakers to enhance clear dialogue.
One of the most impressive features of the HT-RT40 is the one touch wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and NFC support. The Sony HT-RT40 can also be easily synced with BRAVIA TVs in a single-step process.
The HT-RT40 also comes with ‘Music Centre' through which users can browse music through their smartphones, using an app for Android and iOS powered by the ‘Smart Remote Commander' concept.
Other specifications include an HDMI out, optical input, analogue input, and a USB port to play MP3 files from USB sticks.
