Etihad to launch flights to Baku, Azerbaijan
(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways has announced plans to launch scheduled flights to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, as from March next year.
A 136-seat Airbus A320 will fly the route, with 16 seats in business class and 120 in economy.
Azerbaijan introduced a visa waiver program for UAE nationals in November 2015 and expanded it to other GCC nations in early 2016.
The service will be operated three times per week (Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays), starting from March 2, 2018.
