Tunis, Muharram 23, 1439, Oct 13, 2017, SPA -- Secretary General of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior, Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Koman has affirmed that the participation of the Secretariat of the Council in the celebration of the International Day for Disaster Reduction (IDDR), which falls today, represents an occasion to remind the importance of measures needed to prevent and mitigate natural disasters and major accidents and to encourage initiatives, policies and programs aimed at building communities that are capable of coping with them.
