Saudi- Japan's Nikkei tops 21,000 for first time in over two decades

Tokyo, Muharram 23, 1439, Oct 13, 2017, SPA -- Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average climbed
nearly 1 per cent on Friday, topping the 21,000-mark for the first
time in nearly 21 years amid positive earnings expectations.
The Nikkei added 200.46 points, or 0.96 per cent, to close at 21,155.18 after rising as much as 1.22 per cent in the afternoon.
The broader Topix index was up 8.49 points, or 0.5 per cent, to end at 1,708.62.
Shares in Kobe Steel plunged 8.73 per cent after the company revealed it may have fabricated data for more products, intensifying safety concerns among manufacturers at home and abroad.
