KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: Egyptian security authorities arrested a Kuwaiti citizen at Naeema Bay in Sharm Al-Sheikh, Egypt for insulting securitymen when they prevented him from entering an unauthorized site, reports Al-Anba daily. According to Egyptian security sources, the site where the citizen wanted to enter was unauthorized for entry without permission. He was in a taxi with a Kuwaiti woman. He hit the securitymen and used bad words. He also quarreled with two tour guides while they were passing by. He was eventually arrested and referred to the prosecution in Sharm Al-Sheikh City. He was later released on bail worth 2,000 Egyptian Pounds (about KD 40).

Meanwhile, Al-Qabas daily published a different report relating to the incident. According to its report, a video clip went viral in which the Kuwaiti citizen is seen objecting to a policeman who was sitting next to his wife and taking her pictures.

Even though the citizen asked him to stop, the policeman continued to film her, which led to fight between the citizen and some individuals at the location. In the end of the video, securitymen are seen laying the citizen on the ground and placing handcuffs around his wrists while one of the individuals punched him in the head.
