Palestinian reconciliation deal to be implemented in December
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, Oct. 12 (Petra)--Palestinian Fatah and Hamas movements signed officially in Cairo on Thursday a reconciliation agreement following talks that have been brokered by Egypt.
The deal was signed by Head of Hamas delegation Saleh Arouri and Fatah leader Azzam al-Ahmad.
Both Fatah and Hamas agreed on measures to enable the National Reconciliation Government to fully carry out its duties to manage the affairs of the Gaza Strip as well as the West Bank by next December.
