Amman, Oct. 12 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday sent a cable of congratulations to Canada's Governor-General Julie Payette on assuming her duties as governor-general.
The King stressed Jordan's keenness to boost cooperation and friendship with Canada in various fields.
He also wished the governor general continued good health and the Canadian people further progress and prosperity.
