Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Takes Part in Workshop on Yemen in Brussels

Brussels, Muharram 21, 1439, Oct 11, 2017, SPA -- Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber and a number of officials participated today in a workshop organized by the Gulf Research Center in cooperation with the Royal Institute for International Relations in the Belgian capital of Brussels.
The workshop was held under the title "Future of Yemen", with the participation of Mark Otto, Chief Operating Officer of the International Crisis Group; Yemeni Ambassador to the European Union and Belgium Mohamed Taha Mustafa; Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Arab Coalition and the Chairwoman of the EU delegation to Yemen Ambassador Antonia Calvo Puerta.
During the workshop's first session, the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen indicated to the relationships between the Kingdom and Yemen, stressing that the Kingdom is the largest economic supporter of Yemen, citing its Gulf Initiative in 2011 to transfer power peacefully from former President Ali Saleh to the current President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi.
