Nigeria Merchants Adoption Of Crypto Training Workshop


(MENAFNEditorial) Cryptocurrency adoption in Africa is gaining grounds at a rapid pace. Notwithstanding, one critical area that needs a significant push is merchants and business acceptance as a form of payment for goods and services.

Apart from South Africa where there are thousands of merchants accepting Bitcoin and other Cryptos as a form of payment, one cannot go far with Crypto in Africa.

Merchants accepting Bitcoin and altcoins as a form of payment for goods and services in Africa is very critical. It is indispensable and it will boost adoption, offering Africans the freedom and convenience digital currencies bring.

Nigeria is one of the four African countries where is picking up remarkably. The West African nation is home to over 200 million people and counted among the entities where monetary mismanagement has ruined lives and hindered the creation of wealth for many generations.

Based on the above factors, Africa Blockchain University, (ABU) an affiliate of in conjunction with the Bastiat Society of Nigeria is putting together a two-day Workshop to train 100 merchants and businesses to accept Cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment for goods and services. The event is packaged to equip operators of restaurants, hotels, gas stations, estate agencies, Travel & Tours, supermarkets, car rentals online shops as well as small and medium enterprises to accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment for goods and services.

PoS Hardware

Accounting

Avoiding Fraud

Setting Prices

Contracts

Paying Taxes on Crypto Income

The two-day training will take place from 26-27 October 2017 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
