Operation goes wrong for Kuwaiti in Lebanon


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: A Kuwaiti citizen travelled to Lebanon for liposuction, removal of fibrosis and cleaning of ears but he ended up with a permanent defect and distortion due to a medical error, reports Al-Rai daily.

Lawyer Ashraf Al-Mousawi lodged a complaint with the Pulic Prosecution on behalf of the Kuwaiti citizen in Lebanon against the plastic surgery center and two doctors as well as others proven to be involved in the issue.

He said a medical report issued the Forensic doctor Naeema Malah was submitted along with the complaint to prove the medical error and subsequent negative effects, adding that the complaint will be referred to a medical committee and a response will be given by the Doctors Association prior to proceeding with the judiciary procedures.
