Ukraine loses to Croatia, not to play at World Cup 2018. Photos
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Croatia beat Ukraine 2:0 in the final World Cup qualifier in Kyiv on Monday night.
Croatia's Andrej Kramaric made a double and secured his team the second position in Group I and a place in the playoffs.
Ukraine started the qualifying stage with the draw with Iceland (1: 1) and Turkey (2: 2). After that, the team of Andriy Shevchenko beat Kosovo (3-0) on a neutral field in the Polish city of Krakow, twice defeated Finland (1: 0, 2: 1), lost in Croatia (0: 1), beat Turks (2: 0), lost to Iceland (0: 2) and defeated Kosovo (2: 0).
