200 SMEs expected to take part in Omani Innovations exhibition


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The organising committee of entrepreneurs' products exhibition 'Omani Innovations', announced that it expects 200 SMEs to take part. The event will be held from November 21-25 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The exhibition will be organised by Riyada, Public Authority for Craft Industries, Al Raffd Fund, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Oman International Exhibition Centre. "The exhibition is one of the most important annual events for marketing Omani entrepreneurs' products," said Khalid al Safi al Haribi, acting CEO, Riyada adding, "The fifth version of the annual exhibition will enhance the marketing skills and capabilities of participants and providing entrepreneurs with outlets to display and sell their products. It also aims at creating a platform for sharing experiences.

The exhibition will showcase nine vital sectors including logistics, food and water security, tourism, innovation, oil and gas, information technology and handicraft, said Haribi.

"SME owners should look to improve their marketing capabilities to attract people to buy their products, develop their employees' abilities, and use various social media platforms to promote their products."
