Qatar to overcome siege economic challenges

(MENAFN) Qatar is making remarkable efforts to face the challenges and consequences of the blockade forced by neighbor Arab countries due to allegations of having ties with the region's number one enemy Iran.

Member of Qatar's delegation Nouf Abdullah Al Shammari said during the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly that the State of Qatar showed great efforts to maintain flexibility of the country's economic and social development.

Participating in the event, Al Shammari addressed the Second Committee saying, "International trade is a catalyst and an important tool for development and economic growth in a way that is both inclusive and sustainable, and contributes to the realization of the aspirations of the Sustainable Development Plan 2030".
