Young Qatari painter selected to compete in Paris


(MENAFN) Young Qatari painter Abdullah Al Kuwari has been selected to compete a three-month residency program at one of the most important art residencies in the world, the well-known Cite internationale des Arts, Paris, as announced by Qatar Museums' Fire Station.

The Paris Residency is an extension of the Fire Station: Artist in Residence Program in Doha, in which held under the benefaction of Qatar Museum CEO Her Majesty Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

It provides one lucky artist with an opportunity to live and study in Paris with access to studio space, museums, galleries and numerous opportunities to connect with masters and other artists from all around the world.
