Deadly wildfires in California

(MENAFN) Parts of the wine areas in California are being destroyed by the fire that has killed more than 10 people and destroyed 1,500 properties.

These fires are more frequent in southern California, but the combination of dry weather and strong winds have increased the destruction in the north.

Country sheriff said: "There is a lot of burned homes and a lot of burned areas, so it's just logical that we're gonna find more people."

Resident of Santa Rosa told the BBC: "We have never seen anything like this before, it is such a fast-moving fire."
