The French team will visit Qatar for a two-day trip from October 11, and France is the 5th healthcare supplier to Qatar.
The delegation includes the top brand of generic medicines in France, Biogaran.
The pharmaceutical laboratory covers 19 therapeutic areas and 80 pathologies, including CVD, asthma, diabetes, bacterial infections, oncology, neurology. Logo Silver is the only 'Made in France manufacturer of innovative electric power wheelchair and mobility solution globally. Also there is a Medasys company and it is the leading software developer for integrated medical guidance. Visiomed Group is the French leader in advanced generation of electronic medical devices. It develops and distributes innovative health devices in the diverse and growing sector of self-diagnosis for medical purposes, and well-being.
The companies have been selected to meet the needs of the country, underlined in the National Health Strategy 2017-2022, in order to offer citizens and residents a comprehensive world-class healthcare system, accessible to the whole population. Qatar's imports of medical and pharmaceutical products reached $763m in 2016. The French healthcare has long been enjoying the reputation of being one of the best in the world, and its healthcare industry is supported by a number of innovative companies, with 94% of them in the small and medium enterprises sector.
